  • HOD Message

The real growth story of any nation hinges about the core competencies in core engineering sectors like: civil, electrical & mechanical. Last a few years have witnessed nationwide surge in demand for mechanical engineering courses. This increase in demand for mechanical engineering courses is mainly due to setting up of new manufacturing facilities for power sector, automobile sector and even due to many I.T. companies adding mechanical design to their business portfolio.

At TIT&S, we believe to imbibe best of technical education along with value added career counseling to our would be engineers. The department aims to provide all round development to its students. This will in turn help the budding engineers to face real life situations with ease and comfort. Core strength of the department is its learned and experienced faculty members and well equipped laboratories.

Students are consistently motivated to undertake co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to add extra skills to their domain. Department is running post graduate course in heat, power and thermal engineering. Students are advised, guided and motivated to take real life issues as a part of their project work. This will definitely enhance their analytical skills. Lastly the department aims to generate the technocrats who are true citizen of the nation and they believe in “nation first” thinking.
